Mythological and Scientific reason of Narak Chaturdashi.

Mythological and Scientific reason of Narak Chaturdashi. We all know this festival is also famous by the name of Narak Chaudas and Narak Chaturdashi. It is believed that on the day of Kartik Krishna Chaturdashi, one gets freedom from Narak  by applying oil and putting Apamarg (Chichri) leaves in water and taking bath in the morning. The person who worships according to the rituals becomes free from all sins and attains heaven. There is a tradition of Deepdan in the evening which is done for Yamraj. It would not be appropriate to call Diwali a one day festival. From the point of view of the importance and greatness of this festival, it is a very important festival and festival of Hindus. It is a festival in the middle of a series of five festivals such as the king among the ministerial community. Two days before Diwali, Dhan-Trayodashi (Dhanteras) then Narak Chaturdashi (Nark Chaudas) and Chhoti Diwali, then Diwali and Govardhan Puja and Bali Pratipada, Bhratri-Dwitiya (Bhai Dooj). Narak Chaturdashi is also called Choti Diwali. It is called Choti Diwali because a day before Diwali, the darkness of the night is driven away by the light beam by lighting the lamp in the same way as on the night of Diwali. There are many mythological stories and folk beliefs regarding the practice of lighting lamps on this night. (According to a legend, on this day, Lord Shri Krishna had killed the tyrannical and wicked Narakasura and freed sixteen thousand and one hundred girls from the prison of Narakasura and honored them. On this occasion, a procession of lamps is decorated.) Another story regarding the fast and worship of this day is that there was a virtuous and religious king named Ranti Dev. He had not committed any sin even unknowingly, but when the time of death came, Yamdoots appeared before him. The king was surprised to see Yamdoot in front of him and said, I have never committed any sin, then why have you people come to take me because your coming here means that I will have to go to Narak. Please be kind to me and tell me because of which crime of mine I have to go to Narak. Hearing the persuasive words of the virtuous king, Yamdoot said, O king, once a hungry Brahmin returned from your door, this is the result of that sinful act. On hearing this from the messengers, the king said to the Yamdoots that I request you to give me more time of the year. The eunuchs gave the king one year’s time. The king went to the sages with his problem and after telling them the whole story, asked them, please, what is the solution to get rid of this sin. The sage said, O king, observe a fast on the Chaturdashi of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month, feed the Brahmins and apologize to them for your crimes against them. The king did as the sages told him. In this way the king was freed from his sins and got a place in the world of Vishnu. From that day onwards, fasting on the day of Kartik Chaturdashi is prevalent in the earth for freedom from sin and hell. On this day, there is great significance in waking up before sunrise, applying oil and adding chirchiri leaves in water and taking bath with it. Having darshan of God in Vishnu temple and Krishna temple after bathing is said to be extremely virtuous. This removes sin and gives beauty. Chaturdashi of Kartik Krishna Paksha is known as Narak Chaturdashi, Roop Chaturdashi and Chhoti Diwali for the above reasons. And after this, Diwali, Godhan Puja and Bhai Dooj (Bhratri-Dwitiya) are celebrated respectively.  Let us know the scientific reasons On this day, a special type of line is formed in the solar system which we call Apamarg. Apamarg means those paths which encourage us to do wrong deeds. On this day, the entire family comes together to light a lamp or perform fire rituals. So that we remember the fire and promise ourselves that we will not do any wrong deeds so that we do not suffer the pain of hell or stay away from such people who encourage us to do such wrong deeds. With this, we too, like Lord Krishna, kill the demons who are inside us or around us. By the way, Apamarga is also the name of a tree in our Ayurveda Shastra. This tree has many specialties, one of which is that if you pass this tree or if you make a promise to yourself by agni prajwalan, then you will get the complete fulfillment. In a way, they deserve positive energy.

Dhanteras : a festival of health and wealth.

Dhanteras is a festival of balancing wealth and health.  Dhanteras is one such great festival in which along with material prosperity, health is also given importance.  Worshiping Dhanvantari on this day along with Lakshmi and Kuber teaches us the way of life.  It should be noted that enjoyment of wealth and splendor is not possible without good health, hence the concept of Dhanvantari which emerged over time for enjoyment of opulence, appears to be very scientific. There is a tradition of buying silver on this day.  Silver means Moon, which is the lord of both money and mind.  The moon is a symbol of coolness and also satisfaction.  In fact, the experience of satisfaction is the greatest wealth.  The one who is satisfied is both rich and happy.  To enjoy wealth, along with the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, good health and longevity is also required.  This concept is the foundation of the existence of Dhanvantari.  Lord Dhanvantari has the position of Dev Vaidya in Hindu religion.  It is said that Kamadhenu appeared on Kartik Krishna Dwadashi, Dhanvantari on Trayodashi, Mahakali on Chaturdashi and Mahalakshmi appeared on Amavasya.  At the time of appearance, four-armed Dhanvantari has nectar pot, medicine, conch and chakra in his four hands. As soon as he appeared, he introduced Ayurveda.  First of all, Brahma composed Ayurveda consisting of one thousand chapters and one lakh verses, which was learned by the Ashwini Kumars and passed on to Indra.  Indra taught this skill to Dhanvantari.  Before Dhanvantari, Ayurveda was secret and extinct.  Vishwamitra’s son Sushruta accepted this knowledge from him.  Sushruta was the world’s first surgeon. When Shri Divodas, a descendant of Dhanvantari, established the world’s first school of surgery in Kashi, he appointed Sushruta as its principal.  From Divodas to his descendants Ram Shastri and Sameer Shastri, the strong and rich medical history of Ayurveda is a symbol of India’s pride.  Even today, Dhanvantari Nivas in Kashi seems to be preserving the legacy of Dhanvantari.  Where amazing research work is done on the treatment of incurable diseases without any fanfare. According to the Puranas, when Dhanvantari, after emerging from the churning of the ocean, asked Vishnu for his post and department, Vishnu said that in the second Dwapar, you will live in a royal family on earth.  You will be born and you will be famous and worshiped in all three worlds.  You will be considered godlike.  You will do the eightfold division of Ayurveda.  Due to this boon, in the Second Dwapara Yuga, Lord Dhanvantari was reborn as the child of Dhanva, the son of King Kash, the founder of present Kashi (the founder of the original Kashi is called Lord Shiva).  And after adopting Ayurveda again from Bhardwaj, he divided it into eight parts.  Dhanvantari knew the method of treatment of all diseases.  It is said that after Shiva accepted Halahal, Dhanvantari provided him the nectar and then some drops of it also spilled in the city of Kashi.  In this way Kashi became a timeless city that would never be destroyed.

Yog Pranayam

Yog Pranayama:          Today we will understand Pranayam properly, what is Pranayam. It is said in Geeta अन्नाद्भवन्ति भूतानि पर्जन्यादन्नसम्भवः। यज्ञाद्भवति पर्जन्यो यज्ञः कर्मसमुद्भवः।। All living beings are born from food. Food is produced by rain. Rain comes from Yagya. Yagya is accomplished through deeds. You consider the deeds to be born from the Vedas and the Vedas to be manifested from Akshar Brahma. That is why the omnipresent God is always revered in Yagya (kartavya-karm). Food does not only mean wheat, rice, millet, but it is Raj, Sat is Tam, Raj means matter, Sat means water, Tam means energy, our body is trigunatmak, it is made up of three nadis, Ida, Pida and Sushumna. Prana energy flows through the entire body and is affected. These three nadis, after dividing into branches, work to deliver vital energy to our body through seventy-two thousand nadis. Pranayam:            Our physical body itself is Annamayakosh, this Annamayakosh runs the Pranamayakosh. In fact, God himself has made arrangements for this body, the life energy automatically flows through seventy-two thousand nerves in the entire body and operates the entire body, this is called Pranayam. Man gets trapped in the desires of selfishness and greed due to which the life force gets blocked and disorders arise in the body. Pranayama is the yogic process through which life energy reaches the entire body, making chaitanya and purifying it. To make the entire body pure and powerful by restraining the vital force (Kumbhaka) by restraining the mental tendencies and making the life alive by making it reach every pore of the body and making it conscious is called Pranayam. Yog is Brahma Vidya, by knowing which, by blocking the tendencies of the mind, through Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayam, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana and Samadhi, by doing Bhedan the Shathchakra, by purifying the seventy-two thousand nadis, by purifying the Panchakosha, by knowing oneself and purifying oneself, one becomes God. By reaching and knowing the joy, one can attain Moksha (salvation). This is also called Kundali Jagran. You all have encouraged us by joining us, we are grateful to you, stay connected with us, thank you.         May Bhavanishankar bless us all. Good luck!

What is Sapta Chakra and Kundalini Shakti

Know what is Sapta Chakra and Kundalini Shakti There are seven circularly rotating energy centers in the human body, which are located in the spine and extend from the base of the Merudand (spinal column) up to the skull. These are called Chakra, because in Sanskrit Chakra means circle, wheel or round object. Their description is found in our Upanishads. Each chakra is shown in a particular color and has a certain number of lotus petals. A Sanskrit letter is written in each petal. One of these letters represents the main sound of that chakra. These chakras are the centers of life energy. This vital energy flows in some vessels, which are called nadis. Sushumna is a main nadi which is located in the spinal cord, there are two thin nadis named Ida and Pingala which are located parallel to the spinal cord on the left and right side respectively. Ida and Pingala maintain connections with both hemispheres of the brain. Pingala is the Bahirmukhi (extroverted) Surya Nadi which is related to the left hemisphere. Ida is the Antarmukhi (inward) Cahndra Nadi which is related to the right hemisphere. Each chakra relates to a specific part and organ of the physical body and provides it with the necessary energy to function smoothly. Additionally, each chakra describes a certain level of energy vibration and the physical and emotional aspects of a human being are also reflected in different chakras. The lower chakras relate to the body’s basic behavior and needs, are denser and vibrate at a lower frequency. Whereas the upper chakras are related to higher mental and spiritual faculties. The free flow of energy in the chakras ensures our health and balance of body, mind and spirit. The basis of your subtle body, your energy field and the entire chakra system is prana, which is the primary source of life and energy in the universe. These chakras store, transform and flow prana energy and are said to be the gateways of prana energy to the physical body. Without this life energy the existence and life of the physical body is not possible. The seven chakras are described as follows – 1. Muladhara (base chakra), 2. Swadhisthana (sacral chakra), 3. Manipura (navel chakra), 4. Anahat (heart chakra), 5. Vishuddha (throat chakra), 6. Ajna (third eye), 7. Sahasrara (head chakra). Muladhara or root-chakra This is the first chakra and it is located between the genitals and the anus. In women, it is located behind the uterine cervix, where the vagina meets the uterus. A Brahma granthi is situated at this place which symbolizes Brahma. Its color is red, the secondary color is black. Red color represents life and physical energy. The Muladhara Chakra appears like a lotus flower with four petals. It is in the shape of a quadrilateral, inside which there is a triangle (representation of the vagina). A Shivalinga is situated in the triangle on which the snake-shaped Kundalini is wrapped. Four nadis are found in the Muladhar Chakra. It has four sounds –  (वं, शं, षं, सं) Vam, Sham, Sham, Sam and this sound vibrates the parts of the brain and heart. The health of the body depends on these sounds. It controls the adrenal gland. Muladhara Chakra is related to earth, motherland, culture, life. It is the center of energy and life. Muladhara Chakra is a combination of taste, form, smell, touch, feelings and words. This is the place of Apana Vayu and feces, urine, semen, delivery etc. are under its control. This is considered to be the root of world creation in Yoga. This chakra is also the origin of our divine power development, mental development, and consciousness. To keep Mooladhar healthy, coordination should be maintained between worldly and spiritual powers. Physically Muladhara controls sexual desire, mentally stability, emotionally sensual pleasures and spiritually the feeling of security. It is related to instinct, defense, survival and the fundamental capacity of human beings. Those whose chakra is developed and active are lively and when their existence is in danger, it is their responsibility to kill. This chakra is also related to fear, anger, anguish, longing and guilt. This is the door to both heaven and hell. Muladhar Chakra Kundalini Shakti is considered to be the supreme conscious power of human life. All the elements necessary for the creation of the universe are present within humans in the form of Kundalini Shakti. By awakening this power through yoga, one can experience amazing physical and spiritual strength within oneself. The deity of this Chakra is Ganesha and the seed mantra is  ‘ लं ‘ ‘Lam’. Swadhisthana Chakra Swadhisthana means स्व (स्वयं) + अधिष्ठान (स्थापित होना)  sva (self) + adhishthana (to be established), it means that all the sanskars of a human being are situated in this chakra. Their counterpart in the brain is the subconscious mind. Swadhisthana Chakra is located in the lower part of the( त्रिकास्थि) sacrum, two fingers above the perineum. It has a lotus with 6 petals. In this chakra, 6 nadis come together to form a lotus flower with 6 petals, which is symbolic of the party. Inside the flower is a white half moon made of two circles of different sizes. Its shape is round and its color is orange. The half moon is its instrument. In this Chakra the sounds – बं, भं, मं, यं, रं, लं  Bam, Bham, Man, Yam, Ran, La. Swadhisthana Chakra is related to subconsciousness and emotions. It is in contact with the Muladhar Chakra. Sanskars remain dormant in Swadhisthana Chakra and they are expressed in Muladhara. According to science, the brain keeps storing all our experiences and sensations in the subconscious cells without analyzing them. This chakra becomes a big obstacle in the process of Kundalini awakening because these feelings and actions lying in the subconscious mind do not allow the Kundalini to awaken and it repeatedly goes to Muladhar and becomes dormant. This chakra is related to taste, birth, family and emotions and it is dominated by water element.

What are the benefits of Bhairavi Sadhana?

What are the benefits of Bhairavi Sadhana? Bhairavi Sadhana is an intense process, which increases the receptivity required to receive the blessings of Goddess Bhairavi Devi. Both men and women can do it. Here, while explaining the importance of this sadhana, Yogi Brambhnath is also telling the benefits of this sadhana. 1. Sadhana – Learning how to ride the waves of life 2. How to get maximum benefits from Bhairavi Sadhana 3. Importance of Bhairavi Sadhana 4. How to start Bhairavi Sadhana 5. Benefits of Bhairavi Sadhana 6. Effect of Bhairavi Sadhana  In today’s so-called modern societies, people are not understanding the sadhana done from time to time, they are not even aware of it – people are forgetting the sadhana. Nowadays only illiterate people and people living in villages do such sadhana. When people become educated, they do not do any right work. Modern education is making people scatter here and there. These people shy away from coming in groups. They think they are better than everyone else. But, they are confused about everything. What the illiterate farmers know and understand, these educated people do not know but still they believe that they are superior, better than all the people. They are definitely confused at some deep level. Sadhana is a means which enables you to ride the waves of life. The importance of doing sadhana for some time is to bring and increase biological intelligence in your system to make your life easier. You don’t need to imagine that this universe is some problem that you have to solve. There is no problem in creation. This is an amazing event. You can ride it or get crushed under it. choice is yours. If you ride on it then it is such an amazing event that no one can imagine. It’s a terrible thing if you get crushed under it. Sadhana – Learning how to ride the waves of life Learning how to ride the waves of life is spiritual practice. The word Sadhna literally means a means or equipment. It is a tool that enables you to ride the waves of life.A few days ago, I was at an international airport where a young woman was sitting in the aisle, not on a chair, but on her bag. Thousands of people were coming here and there with their trolleys, some were running to catch the plane, some were getting down and going out – but she had no problem with all this, she was not getting disturbed but a small She was sitting with a mirror and a pair of small hair tweezers and was skillfully removing the extra hair from her eyebrows. I thought his focus was at a very high level. That small device was important, which she was using very efficiently, sitting in the middle of the crowded area of the airport, where thousands of people were moving here and there around her.  In using everything from the smallest to the largest equipment, focus and complete involvement are the two things that make the equipment effective. Yes, the design of the device is important, but still, when there are so many people walking around you that little tweezers might as well stick in your eyes – that means your level of involvement becomes very important. The only question is how important all this is to you! Not your eyebrows, your spiritual process. If you grow a third eye, there will be one more thing to fix. But, in reality, the spiritual process does not produce eyebrows, only eyes. How to get maximum benefit from Bhairavi Sadhana The process of Sadhana has been designed in such a way that maximum results are obtained with minimum effort. Sadhana is like a pair of tweezers for plucking eyebrow hairs – it will work well if you use it with great attention, care and full involvement, otherwise you might pluck out your own eyes. It is not designed for that kind of result. It has been designed to work with great care, caution and thorough involvement so that you get the right results. Tools/tools are important but how you use them is more important. If I tell you to fit something properly and you put the wrong end of the screwdriver on it, you will probably hurt yourself. Bhairavi sadhana is very simple. We could make it more complicated but if we make it too complex and complicated then many people will not understand what it is all about! But, don’t be fooled by its simplicity. If you devote yourself completely to it, you will get results that you cannot even imagine. Same thing happens with life also because we do not have to create life, it is already there. We just have to make it work at the highest level, correctly, efficiently. If you had to create a life, it would be a different kind of challenge. But everything is here. You just have to keep it in perfect condition. And, this will happen only by doing sadhana. Importance of Bhairavi Sadhana This sadhana has been intentionally structured in such a way that some parts of it you will like and some parts you will dislike. You will be comfortable in the part which will not bend, tire or break you, but the part which you do not like is more important. If you do what you like with 100% involvement, then what you don’t like, you should do with 200% involvement. You can use them for your own well-being, or you can use them to put yourself into a hell of your own making. Are you taking neem tablets in the morning? Perhaps you push them back down your throat with full force and then drink a lot of water. You should actually chew them by placing them in your mouth. We can also give you Rasgulla instead of Neem tablets. You can eat one rasgulla with full awareness, but if we give you a lot

Janeu Yopavitra

Janeu On hearing the name of Janeu, the first thing that comes to mind is the thread, the second thing is Brahmin. Is sacred thread related only to Brahmins, why do they wear sacred thread, is there any benefit to it, what is sacred thread, why, how, today we introduce you to it only. Janeu is also known as Upveet, Yajnasutra, Vratabandha, Balabandha, Monibandha and Brahmasutra. Out of the 24 sanskars of Hindu religion (you all must know 16 sanskars but they are the main sanskars, there are 8 sub-sanskars, about which I will give you further information), the sacred thread is worn under ‘Upanayan Sanskar’, which is called ‘Yagnopavit’. It is mandatory for the person wearing it to follow all the rules. The literal meaning of Upanayana is “to bring closer” and the meaning of Upanayana Sanskar is “to bring closer to Brahma (God) and knowledge”. In Hindu religion, it is the duty of every Hindu to wear sacred thread and follow its rules. Not every Hindu can wear Janeu. Only three varnas were given this right. The Shudra caste was not given the right to wear sacred thread and hence the right to education. Only after wearing the sacred thread, a Dwij child gets the right to perform Yagya and self-study. Dwija means second birth. It simply means that the right to education was given only after the sacred thread ceremony and the one who did not receive education was placed in the category of Shudra (Varna system). A girl who has to follow lifelong celibacy can wear the sacred thread. A celibate wears a sacred thread of three threads and a married person wears a sacred thread of six threads. Out of the six threads of Yagyopaveet, three threads are mentioned as his own and three threads are mentioned as his wife’s. Spiritual importance of sacred thread Three sutras in Janeu: Symbols of Trimurti Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh – symbols of Devrin, Pitrurin and Rishirin – are symbols of Satva, Raja and Tama. Besides, these three sutras are symbols of the three stages of Gayatri Mantra and also the symbols of three ashrams. Each string of the sacred thread has three strings. Hence the total number of stars is nine. These include one mouth, two nostrils, two eyes, two ears, two for stool and two for urine, making a total of nine. This means – we should speak and eat well with our mouth, see well with our eyes and listen well with our ears. Five knots are tied in the sacred thread, it is called Pravara which is a symbol of Brahma, Dharma, Ardha, Kama and Moksha. It is also a symbol of five yagyas, five senses and five deeds. The numbers of Pravara are 1, 3 and 5. Length : The length of the sacred thread is 96 fingers because the person wearing the sacred thread should try to learn 64 arts and 32 sciences. 32 Vidyas are composed of four Vedas, four Upavedas, six Angas, six Darshanas, three sutras and nine Aranyakas. The 64 arts include architectural construction, culinary art, painting, literary art, handicraft, language, instrument making, sewing, embroidery, weaving, handicraft, jewelry making, agricultural knowledge etc. Benefits of Janeu Direct benefits, which people today understand  The rule in Janeu is that Janeu should be worn on the right waist from the left shoulder. During excretion of feces and urine, the sacred thread should be placed on the right ear and should be removed only after cleaning hands. Its basic meaning is that the sacred thread should be higher than the waist and should not become impure. This is very important. The meaning is clear that the person wearing the sacred thread takes care to clean himself after defecating, this minimizes the risk of infection. Indirect benefits, which few people know  There are a total of 365 energy points in the body. Different points affect different diseases. Some points are also common. In acupressure, each point has to be pressed for two-three minutes. And we do the same thing with the sacred thread, we acupress that point. How? Let us understand  Massaging the area below the ear (ear lobe) for five minutes daily improves memory. This tip is very useful for children who are studying. If you want to reduce appetite, then half an hour before eating, press the small part outside the ear (trigus) with your finger for two minutes. You will feel less hungry. This is also the point of thirst. If people press this during Nirjala fast, they will feel less thirsty. In the terminology of acupressure, it is called point GV 20 or DU 20. You can see its benefits – GV 20 – Location: In the bend behind the ear. Uses: Relief in depression, headache, dizziness and diseases related to sense organs i.e. nose, ears and eyes. Effective in mental imbalance, paralysis and uterus diseases.  Apart from this, some of its other benefits, which are clinically proven  1. In case of frequent bad dreams, wearing the sacred thread prevents such dreams. 2. By passing the sacred thread near the heart, it reduces the chances of heart disease, because blood circulation starts functioning smoothly. 3. The person wearing the sacred thread is bound by cleanliness rules. This cleanliness protects him from diseases of teeth, mouth, stomach, worms and bacteria. 4. By wearing the sacred thread on the right ear, the nerve in the ear gets pressed, due to which some sleeping part of the brain gets activated. 5. The nerve of the right ear is connected to the testicles and genitals. Wrapping the sacred thread on the right ear at the time of urination protects the sperms. 6. Wrapping the sacred thread in the ear awakens the Surya Nadi in a person. 7. Wrapping the sacred thread on the ears also prevents stomach related diseases and blood pressure problems. Importance of Janeu Sanskar It is very important that every family gives importance to religious rituals, elders in the house are respected

Who are the seven great Saptarishis? There are about one thousand Suktas in Rigveda, that is, about ten thousand mantras. There are more than twenty thousand mantras in the four Vedas and we call the poets who composed these mantras as sages. Like the mantras of the other three Vedas, many sages have contributed to the composition of the mantras of the Rig Veda. But among these also there are seven sages in whose families there was a long tradition of mantra-creating sages. These clan tradition hymns of Rigveda are collected in ten mandalas and in these, two to seven i.e. six mandalas are what we traditionally call lineage mandalas because the mantras of the sages of six Rishi clans have been collected in them. A circle of seven stars is visible in the sky, they are called the circle of Saptarishis. The stars of the said circle have been named after the seven great saints of India. There is a detailed discussion about the position, speed, distance and expansion of the said circle in the Vedas. In each Manvantar, there have been different Saptarishis. Presented here is the introduction of the seven sages of the period of Vaivaswat Manu. 1. The first sage of Saptarishi who had Kamadhenu Vashishtha : Who does not know Rishi Vashishtha, the vice-guru of King Dasharatha. He was the guru of Dasharatha’s four sons. On Vashishtha’s advice, Dasharatha sent his four sons along with sage Vishwamitra to the ashram to kill the demons. There was a war between Vashishtha and Vishwamitra for Kamdhenu cow. When Vashishtha gave the idea of curbing the royal power, Maitravarun Vashishtha of his own clan created a new history by composing a hundred hymns together on the banks of river Saraswati. 2. The second great sage, the knower of mantra power and the creator of heaven. Vishwamitra :  Before being a sage, Vishwamitra was a king and he fought a war with sage Vashishtha to capture the Kamdhenu cow, but he lost. This defeat inspired him to do severe penance. The story of Vishwamitra’s penance and Maneka breaking his penance is world famous.Vishwamitra:- Before being a sage, Vishwamitra was a king and he fought a war with sage Vashishtha to capture the Kamdhenu cow, but he lost. This defeat inspired him to do severe penance. The story of Vishwamitra’s penance and Maneka breaking his penance is world famous. It is believed that at the same place where Shantikunj is situated in Haridwar, Vishwamitra, angry with Indra, had created a separate heaven after doing severe penance. Vishwamitra gave this country the knowledge of making Richa and composed Gayatri Mantra which has been continuously residing in the heart and tongue of India for thousands of years till today. 3. The third great sage told the science of knowledge and the path to prevent evil, Kanva : It is believed that the most important yagya of this country, Somayyagya, was organized by Kanvas. Kanva was a sage of the Vedic period. Shakuntala, wife of King Dushyant of Hastinapur and his son Bharat were brought up in his ashram. Most of the mantras of the eighth chapter of Rig Veda consisting of 103 Suktas are recited by Maharishi Kanva and his descendants and clans. There are other seer sages in some Suktas, but according to ‘Pradhanyen Vyapadesha Bhavanti’, Maharishi Kanva has been called the seer sage of the Ashtam Mandal. These contain useful mantras related to worldly knowledge, science and prevention of evil. Situated at the top of the Kaimur range at a distance of eight kilometers from the district headquarters in Sonbhadra, is the penance of sage Kanva, which is known as Kandakot. 4. The fourth great sage who taught the world how to fly a plane, Bhardwaj : Rishi Bhardwaj has a high position among the Vedic sages. Bhardwaj’s father was Brihaspati and mother was Mamta. Bhardwaj lived before Rishi Ram, but according to a mention of his long life, Shri Ram had gone to his ashram during his exile, which was historically the period of Treta Dwapar. It is believed that one of the Bhardwajas, Vidatha, succeeded Dushyant’s son Bharat and continued composing the mantra while ruling the kingdom. Among the sons of Rishi Bhardwaj, 10 sages are the seers of the Rig Veda and one daughter whose name was ‘Ratri’ is also considered to be the seer of the Mantras of the Ratri Sukta. The seer of the sixth chapter of Rigveda is sage Bhardwaj. There are 765 mantras of Bhardwaj in this mandala. 23 mantras of Bhardwaj are also found in Atharvaveda. Rishi Bhardwaj was also the author of ‘Bhardwaj Smriti’ and ‘Bhardwaj Samhita’. Rishi Bhardwaj had written a huge book named ‘Yantra-Sarvasva’. Swami Brahmamuni has published some part of this book in the name of ‘Viman Shastra’. In this book, there is a description of the making of various metals for planes moving at high and low levels. 5. The fifth great sage of the founder family of Zoroastrianism and who told about farming, Atri : Maharishi Atri, the seer of the fifth chapter of Rigveda, was the son of Brahma, father of Som and husband of Anusuya, daughter of Kardam Prajapati and Devahuti. When Atri had gone out, the Tridevs started begging for alms in the guise of a Brahmin at Anasuya’s house and told Anusuya that we will accept alms only when you remove all your clothes, then Anusuya, on the strength of her chastity, transformed the said three gods into innocent children. Gave them alms. Mother Anusuya had preached the vow of husbandry to Goddess Sita.
